If you face D.H.Library from Hillsborough Street/Founders Dr, Scott Hall building is on the right of the library, just behind the campus bus stop.
The closest parking lot is across the Hillsborough Street next to the roundabout near the Scot Hall.

Notes

  1. Reviewed and Approved Meeting Notes from 04/21/2022 PAC Meeting

  2. Next Happy Hours- will take place Friday June 24th at Hi-Wire Brewing in Durham, NC 27701 ; 800 Taylor Street . 919-295-3700. No need to make reservation. First to come will reserve table for PAC.

  3. Project Centaur – Marek Maciolowski and Henryk Fantazos asked for more involvement from PAC. Upon discussion PAC President agreed to review letter written from Marek Maciolowski. Letter will be distributed through PAC Google group by Mr. Maciolowski and he will invite PAC members to discuss involvement of young Poles in the Centaur Project .Mr. Maciolowski will organize special meeting to discuss.

  4. Ognisko/Bonfire - Bond park shelter has been reserved for Oct 16. There is bigos competition proposed for the Ognisko. More information will be provided later.

  5. International Festival will take place at State Fairground weekend of November 12-13, 2022. More info will follow as soon as Pac Team will be informed.

  6. Other PAC gatherings in the Fall: Monkey survey for Sylwester and Christmas Dinner will be sent to members mid-July. This will happen after our dedicated team (Jowita Mikolajczyk, Ewa Malec, Piotr Kralka, Jadwiga Zerda)) will answer the following questions by mid of June:
    a) What places have been proposed for Sylwester and Christmas Dinner?
    b) Prices for rental and food?
    c) How many people each place can house?
    d) Cost to clean the place if we will decide to do it ourselves?
    e) Are kitchen Facility available?

  7. Treasurer Report (Majówka expenses $390, Income from Majówka $1,000.25; income from members due $610; Total of 57 Families paid dues for 2022;. 13 families paid dues at Majowka

  8. Next PAC Meeting will take place on July 20th at 7pm, 216 Scott Hall NCSU Campus

  9. Open discussion:

    1. There were questions about club 501 (c)(4) status. Can people take deduction for donation to the club? How much money can we have in our bank account? Krzysztof Florek will follow up on that.

    2. Paderewski Festival will take place Nov 5 and 6th at 3pm at St Mary’s College and Nov 11 at 7:30 pm and Nov 12 at 3pm at North Carolina Museum of Art..

    3. Saturday School of Polish Language for children is part of ORPEG listing :www.orpeg.pl/index.php #7898 at USA listing-(Sobotnia Szkola Jezyka Polskiego).School is sponsored by Polish Embassy in Washington DC. Classes are held at NCSU Campus September through May.
