The screening of "Wolyn / Volhynia" will be October 17, at 6:pm, Social Sciences Bldg., room 139, West Campus, of Duke University.
Before the screening, Dr. Daniel Fedorowycz (Research Fellow at University of Toronto) will give a talk "What Happened Between Poles and Ukrainians During World War II?" focusing on Polish-Ukrainian interpretations of the Wolyn massacre and how these interpretations cast a shadow on future relationships between the two countries.
Dr. Fedorowycz holds a DPhil in Politics from the University of Oxford. He researches questions relating to the causes of ethnic conflict, with a particular emphasis on Ukraine and Central/Eastern Europe.
