Raleigh's International WINE Festival
October 19th will be Raleigh's International Wine Festival!
After the recent success of our club, we are once again organizing a stand where we will sell delicious, traditional, Polish cakes.
We are looking for volunteers to bake cakes, help run and decorate the stand. The Raleigh city authorities require that baked goods be packed in plastic containers or clear foil.
We will be very grateful for any support, even the smallest.
All proceeds from the sale will be used for the further development of our club and financial resources for preparing further events that we plan to organize in the near future.
We strongly encourage you to participate in the festival together!

1 czerwca 2024 roku odbędzie się Raleigh’s International Food Festival. Polsko-Amerykański Klub w Raleigh organizuje stoisko,na którym będzie można zakupić pyszne, tradycyjne, polskie ciasta. Do tej pory udział reprezentacji Polski w festiwalu cieszył się bardzo dużym zainteresowaniem i przyciągał tłumy mieszkańców Raleigh i okolic.
Cały dochód ze sprzedaży zostanie przeznaczony na dalszy rozwój naszego klubu i środki finansowe na przygotowanie kolejnych wydarzeń, które planujemy zorganizować w niedalekiej przyszłości.
Potrzebujemy chętnych wolontariuszy do pieczenia ciast, pomocy w prowadzeniu i przyozdobieniu stoiska. Władze miasta Raleigh wymagają, aby wypieki zostały zapakowane w plastikowe pojemniki lub przezroczystą folię.

It has been decided to change the way membership payment works. Currently payment is valid for 1 year starting from the date it was paid. It will be changed to payment valid on the year it was paid from January 1st till December 31st. The change will be effective starting beginning of the year 2024.
Club budget was discussed - Jovita said that small number of members pays dues.
Nowicki Endowment was discussed - we still need some money to reach $50K.

Reminder that a remarkable, one-of-a-kind event of the Polish- American Club of the Triangle is fast approaching. This special celebration of the club's new Maciej Nowicki endowment, along with a talk by Dr. Burak Erdim and Poland's Cultural Attachė Katarzyna Rybka -Iwańska will fill the program.
We suggest everyone arrive early - by 7:00 p.m. - to find parking and get a seat. Join us to celebrate a great Polish icon and major accomplishment of the club.
The new Maciej Nowicki Polish Architecture and Design Endowment will support students and faculty to study Polish architecture, design, art and landscape architecture in Poland or the US.
“We are excited to celebrate the creation of this new endowment and planning conference and exposition while recognizing one of the college’s monumental founders and first chair of the faculty of architecture at NC State, Maciej Nowicki” says Mark Elison Hoversten, dean of the College of Design. Among Nowicki’s many achievements are the design of the J.S. Dorton Arena in Raleigh, placed on the national historic registry in 1972.
